Christiansminde Dambrug in Denmark is the first in the world to achieve the ASC certification on their trout farm.
The ASC certificate is a global labelling for responsible aquaculture, which labels the production as sustainable for the environment, fish and humans.

Sturgeon world in one place
26th November 2014, Warsaw, Poland
Last week we had the pleasure of having Schleswig-Holsteins Prime Minister Torsten Albig at ALLER AQUA RESEARCH.
ALLER AQUA RESEARCH is now officially certificated as Apprenticeship Company with emphasis on fish farming.
14 May 2014, ALLER AQUA held the inauguration of its new research and development facility, only 9 months after the foundation of ALLER AQUA Research (AAR) in Büsum (Germany).
ALLER AQUA Egypt being the leading fish feed producer in Egypt and Africa for environmental friendly extruded fish feeds will during the summer be ready with a new fish feed factory.
ALLER AQUA and Porto Conte Ricerche have extended their research collaboration until 2016.
This year ALLER AQUA’s annual sales seminar was held in Hamburg from the 4th to 6th February with over 50 participants from 22 countries.
ALLER AQUA has recently been audited and achieved approval for compliance with the ASC-standards. This means that ALLER AQUA lives up to the standards set out by the ASC (Aquaculture Stewardship Council – an independent non-profit organization co-founded by WWF and The Sustainable Trade Initiative). This ensures that ASC certified fish farmers can use ALLER AQUA’s trout feed.
