Aller Aqua Joins Africa Aquaculture Business Leaders Network (AABLN) as a Founding Member

Aller Aqua has become a founding member in the Africa Aquaculture Business Leaders Network (AABLN) along with 22 other companies. This historic step was taken during the Aquaculture Africa Conference (AFRAQ24), held in November 2024 in Hammamet, Tunisia.

Bringing together leaders from across Africa’s aquaculture sector, the AABLN is an initiative focused on accelerating the sustainable growth of aquaculture across the continent. The network reflects a shared commitment to collaborate, innovate, and share impactful solutions that drive positive transformation in Africa’s aquaculture industry.

Ole Haubro, the Sales Director for the Middle East & Africa who signed on behalf of Aller Aqua as a founding member of the network reinforces our commitment to the growth of aquaculture in Africa. Becoming part of the AABLN is Aller Aqua’s commitment to working together to significantly accelerate progress of the aquaculture industry in Africa.

Ole brings more than 20+ years of international B2B and B2C experiences across Africa and is very positive that the creation of the AABLN marks a monumental moment in Africa’s aquaculture sector.

"The growth of aquaculture in Africa is a key focus for us at Aller Aqua. Through our expert knowledge, R&D, technical support, and strategic investments, we are committed to making a lasting, positive impact on the sector. Working together through the AABLN will significantly accelerate this progress” – Ole Haubro, Sales Director MEA.

The AABLN is modelled after the Global Salmon Initiative (GSI) model for pre-competitive collaboration used to advance industry sustainability in the farmed salmon sector.

At Aller Aqua, we believe that partnerships are the key to progress, and we are thrilled to join forces with other industry leaders to “Grow Together” in Africa.
