Aller Aqua leads the charge in sustainable aquaculture development

Join Us at Aqua2024 to Meet Our Innovative R&D Team

Aller Aqua, a pioneer in developing aquaculture for 60 years, is proud to announce our commitment to advancing sustainable practices in the industry. We are excited to showcase our latest breakthroughs and collaborative opportunities at Aqua2024, held from August 27 to 30 in Copenhagen, our Danish capital.

As a leader in sustainable solutions, Aller Aqua is dedicated to developing innovative practices that ensure fish health and the viability of the aquaculture industry for generations to come.

Pioneering Sustainable Solutions

At Aller Aqua, we believe that the future of aquaculture lies in sustainability. Our R&D team has been at the forefront of developing technologies and methods that minimize environmental impact while maximizing performance. From state-of-the-art feed alternatives, our innovations are designed to create a balance between industry growth and environmental stewardship.

One of our key advancements is the development of highly efficient salmon feed, including Black Soldier Fly meal. The feed was developed at our research facilities and tested with our Norwegian salmon customers, Austevoll Melaks, in cooperation with NMBU. Results show a taste-preferred salmon, only bettering fish and farmer conditions.

In our endeavour for healthier fish production, our pioneer Functional Feeds, Temperature-Adapted- Feeds, stand out as the preferred feed solution in ever-changing weather conditions.

Our experience in shrimp feeds goes back to 1964. In partnership with VDS, a tailored European shrimp RAS feed assortment was introduced. As one of the first to label Co2 equivalents according to the PEFCR regulations, our feeds show full Co2 transparency. We stand by our commitment to leading the transparent, sustainable development of aquaculture.

Engage with Our Experts

We urge industry aquaculture experts and stakeholders to come by, where you can meet our dedicated Aller Aqua Research & Development and sales teams. This is a unique opportunity to engage with the minds behind our groundbreaking work, explore our latest innovations, and discuss potential collaborations. We aim to foster partnerships with like-minded who share our vision for a sustainable future.

We believe that by combining our expertise and resources, we can accelerate the adoption of solutions and create a more resilient industry.

Our booth at Aqua2024, booth stand 184 + 185, will feature displays of our solutions. In addition to our booth, our team, including Aller Aqua CEO Anders Bylling will participate in panel discussions. These sessions will cover a range of topics, including:

  • RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

  • OPTIMIZATION OF FISH FARMING OPERATIONS

Commitment to the Future

We recognize aquaculture's critical role in feeding the world's growing population, and we are dedicated to ensuring our industry's role in taking responsibility for the matter.

As we look to the future, we remain focused on pushing the boundaries of innovation and working collaboratively with our partners. By investing in research, embracing new solutions, and fostering a culture of sustainability, Aller Aqua is poised to develop aquaculture for the future.
