Aller Aqua supports the World Aquaculture Society African Chapter 2nd Regional Eastern African Conference in Kenya
Our "Let's GrowTogether" approach and partnerships are key to enabling rapid growth in east africa’s aquaculture
Aller Aqua is a proud silver sponsor of the 2nd regional eastern African aquaculture hybrid conference and trade fair of the World Aquaculture Society African chapter, themed "Aquaculture: Africa’s Turn." The conference will be held at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) in Bondo, Kenya, from March 14–17, 2023.
Aller Aqua has been an active growth and key solution provider for fish farmers in Kenya and the eastern Africa region, providing high-quality fish feeds and building a strategic partnership with Bayrise fish farms. We aim to help small local farmers grow their farm businesses profitably and sustainably. The aquaculture value chain in east Africa is diverse and has many small farmers and a growing commercial aquaculture industry. Aller Aqua’s focus on the region has provided the farmers with environmentally friendly, high-quality fish feeds to improve their FCR and earnings, and the local partnership with Bayrise Fish Farm is providing technical support and market access for their fish.
The eastern African conference will highlight the importance of smallholder fish farmers in transforming the region’s aquaculture sector while providing a platform to share knowledge through our "Let's Grow Together" approach with participants. We are excited to have our local team discuss how we are investing in new and innovative products through Aller Aqua's research and development in tilapia production and supporting their growing industry.
