Aller Aqua and BioRefine test green protein made of grass

In the search for new and sustainable feed ingredients, Aller Aqua has decided to test the green protein produced by BioRefine (Janderup, Denmark).

The product is a protein extracted from grass, which has a similar nutrient profile to soybean meal and could therefore be a great replacement for Aller Aqua organic aquafeed.

The green protein from BioRefine could be a valuable raw material for reducing the carbon footprint of our fish feed and at the same time help other Danish businesses purchase their raw materials locally and responsibly.

It is part of our mission to become more sustainable than the day before and to continuously develop ecological solutions.
